Come together with the young Ukrainian theater director to search for today's Hamlets.
The screening of a documentary film in cooperation with the Kinedok.sk platform takes place on the occasion of World Theater Day on Thursday 27 March in the Library of Klariska 16. The production that attempts to combine his war experience with Shakespeare's Hamlet. For each of them, the stage is a platform to express its sadness and trauma through the famous question "to be or not to". Protagonists are struggling with disappointment, helplessness and anger, trying to put their lives in order to process the painful past: Slávik, who as a soldier passed hell of war and captivity, Katya, who longs for his mother's forgive Traumatic memories of her war experience as a healthcare professional in the battlefield, and Oxana, who fights on the artistic front as an actress. The game rehearsals are associated with an intense view of the life of the characters: a powerful portrait of the generation coping with the war trauma, which is now their presence and future after the Russian invasion.
