Kino * Vtáčnik + beseda s autorkou a režisérkou Evou Križkovou

Capitalism from the bird's eye view. At the time of her childhood, he was still covered with the historical vineyards of Maria Theresa and the forest, today's reality are cranes and excavators. In his film, he recognizes its current inhabitants and discovers that each of them lives and dreams of a slightly different version of this charismatic place. Although they live on one hill, they cannot meet to set the limits to build, which, by ruthlessly and dizzying speed, transforms their home into unrecognizable. Fragments of local stories of the inhabitants of the district with the characteristic name Vtáčnik are mixed with the memories of the director Eva for childhood and reflections on the bird community. View of the director of the old settlers with the look of birds. The research of the oldest living animal species on Earth thus shifts a local urban problem to a global philosophical level: what does our behavior, settlement and coexistence say about the future of our kind? Rather, it is pragmatism or imagination that will help humanity to survive on this planet?
