We are opening the first year of the educational course CLASSICAL ECONOMY FOR TEACHERS (KEPU).
Active teachers interested in improving economic knowledge can apply for it no later than JUNE 30, 2026.
Capacity is limited, however. That's why we recommend signing up as soon as possible.
KEPU is an educational course on the basics of economic thinking for secondary school teachers, which is implemented by the M.R. Štefánik Conservative Institute (KI). It is the only non-governmental organization with many years of educational experience to organize such an educational course in Slovakia.
The course follows other educational programs of KI – Academy of Classical Economics (AKE) for the public and Classical Economics for Secondary School Students (KEPS). In contrast to these year-round courses, in the case of KEPU, it is an intensive weekend program.
The course is aimed at developing the economic thinking of secondary school teachers with an emphasis on understanding the essence of economic principles, uncovering economic mistakes and myths in the context of today's reality, and on the ability of these educators to explain economic laws to their students clearly and without phrases.
The course is intended for a group of accepted applicants. among secondary school teachers about economic thinking in accordance with the principles of a free society, who meet the KI criteria based on the completed forms and who pay the participation fee.
