Klondike | Клондайк

On December 7 at 5:45 p.m., we invite you to the screening of the film "Klondike". Even the Irish woman, despite the fact that she is about to give birth, stubbornly refuses to leave her house. She has no idea that her right to stay will come at a huge price. Emotionally torn between a passively pro-Russian husband and an actively anti-separatist brother, she begins to understand the laws of war too late. The evocative drama, based on real events, is presented by Maryna Er Gorbač in an absolutely superb performance, which was confirmed by the award for directing at the Sundance Film Festival. The drama of the mother, responsible for the future life, is seen in thoughtful compositions that bear witness to the deeply destructive nature of war in every shot. (Karlovy Vary IFF)
