Even during the summer, we continue with the organization of popular science lectures for the public as part of the Astronomers' Club. The next meeting will be a preparation for the approaching total eclipse of the Sun in Spain and Iceland.

Abstract: Solar eclipses are a rare and enchanting phenomenon. What types of eclipses do we have and how do they occur? What can we observe during its complete and partial phase with amateur technique? What do we know that observations get? What have we experienced on the five expeditions of the Astronomical Club Bratislava so far?
The event will take place in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the Charles University. The event is realized as part of the cooperation project of the SAS at the SAV and ASÚ SAV, also with the contribution and support of the Astronomical Institute of the SAV, v. v. i.
