We invite parents and children to a practical workshop focused on one of the key areas of preschool education - the development of phonemic awareness in children. The Elkonin method, which we will introduce here, is an effective tool for developing language skills and preparing children for reading and writing.
At the Alma school, we pay a lot of attention to reading literacy. Therefore, in the first grade, we implement the "Phonemic awareness according to Elkonin" method throughout the school year as a form of prevention for all children.
What will you learn at the workshop?
👉You will learn what phonemic awareness is< br/>👉Why is it so important for your child's future success at school? your child?
Phonemic awareness forms the basis for successful reading and writing. It helps children develop the ability to distinguish sounds, which increases their self-confidence and prepares them for a faster and easier entry into the world of the written word.
