About event
Some bookstores stand on the street, others sway gently on the water. And that's exactly where the story of Bertík and the floating bookstore begins, kind, adventurous and full of fantasy that smells of books and discovery.
We invite you to a book talk with Ellie Šediva, the author of a story about courage, curiosity and the fact that the greatest adventures often begin completely inconspicuously. We will talk about writing for children, about the power of stories that can delight both young and old, and about a world where books are not only for reading, but also for dreaming.
A meeting for families, children, parents and all adults who still remember what it's like to believe that a book can open a new world. And swim calmly.
