About event
Ruhrpott Rodeo & 36 Concerts Present Koka36.
KNOCHENFABRIK was one of the most important and influential German-speaking punk bands of the 90s and is still at least as popular today as it was back then. Her best-known songs include Green Hair and Filmriss. The socially critical themes of the songs are about unemployment and homelessness, community service, trade unions but also about drinking or breaking up.
The band broke up in 1998, but in 2008 there were a total of four official reunion concerts and from 2009 onwards some “really last concerts” followed and you can find the band on stage every now and then since then.
The hip-hop formation Antilopen Gang refers in their song "Anti-Alles-Aktion" on a lyric from the song Filmriss.[2] In the new recording of Anti-Alles-Aktion for the bonus album Atombombe auf Deutschland, Claus Lüer sings the chorus as a guest musician. On their album "Antilopen Geldwasch Sampler 1" they released a cover version of "Filmriss" sung by Danger Dan and accompanied exclusively with the keyboard.
In 2022 the EP "Musical Early Education" was released with eight new songs in 11 minutes.
