About event

🧠Srděly we invite you to a lecture called "Cognitive aspects of conversational AI and digital beings: what implications have large language models" by Ing. Petr Mark, Ph.D., who is a researcher in the field of conversational artificial intelligence specializing in the development of digital personnel. He received a doctorate in the field of conversational AI at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Petr was a member of the Alquist team, who achieved international recognition by victory in the prestigious Amazon Alexa Prize competition, where he exceeded teams from renowned institutions as Stanford. Based on this success, Promethist AI, Prague Startup, has now been co -founded, where he now works as a boss of research and focuses on advances in digital personality technology. Thanks to the strong background in the academic and industrial sphere brings a unique and penetrating view of the rapidly developing area of conversational technologies based on artificial intelligence. We will show you how systems such as Chatgpt or Reasoning models such as O-1 can process and create a text that resembles human communication, thus allowing a more natural interaction between man and machine. These technologies are crucial for the development of digital beings to provide language and cognitive abilities for credible simulation of natural behavior and conversation. During the lecture, we will look at how digital beings work, how we set their goals and how they simulate psychological features and our own identities. We will also focus on the wider impact of artificial intelligence on interpersonal communication, including possible risks in the improper use of AI in decision -making processes. We will also introduce alternative approaches, for example, how artificial intelligence can support better decision-making.
