With the arrival of soul time, we present a production that is not afraid of a darker tone and artistic experiment.
Otesanček (in the Czech original Otesánek) is a classic Czech fairy tale by Karel Jaromír Erben. A story that provides children and adults with rich material to think about - about wishes, about parenting and education, about gluttony and its consequences.
About Jako Otesánek is a peculiar horror puppet interpretation of a well-known fairy tale through the unusual material of various electronic components, chips, wires and diodes.
"O" is an insatiable Otesánek, but also girth, determination, threat or refreshment...
The play was successfully presented at several festivals, such as Flying over the puppet nest, 4+4 days in motion, Skupova Plzeň, International Theater Festival, or Figura Theater Festival in Switzerland, where it was nominated for the Grünschnabel Prize in 2022.
