Patricia Demba will hold two inspiring workshops “Collage - Homage” at Vorona Galerie in November.
Patricia is an artist who has devoted herself to the art of collage for eight years. She has a keen sense of this material, masters it masterfully and generously shares her knowledge. She has more than 45 exhibitions around the world and international recognition behind her.
A series of workshops was created for those who want not only to learn a new technique, but also to dive deeper into the history of art.
Each meeting begins with a short lecture: Patricia will talk about the artist to whose work our homage will be dedicated - she will introduce him to his philosophy, style and iconic works.
And then comes the most interesting part. - we will pick up scissors, glue and create our own homage collages, inspired by the great masters.
Participants who sign up for both workshops will receive a special notebook for their collages - a personal space for creativity and inspiration.
These workshops are suitable for those who are interested in the art of collage, the history of art of the modern and postmodern era, and anyone who wants to combine a little interesting and useful information and a little practice - in one evening.
So,
November 11 at 18:30 we will make collages in the style of Hannah Höch,
November 25 at 18:30 - in the style of Kurt Schwitters,
December 9 at 18:30 - in the style of Barbara Kruger,
December 23 at Christmas time - we will make a holiday collage of our own dreams!
