About event
Kolowrat | Friday, December 6 at 8:30 p.m Christiania
After a long break, Kolowrat comes with new original songs, focused on an EP called KRISTAL, which will be released on Slnkorecords on October 16, 2024.
Even though the band still hasn't reunited in a full line-up, the pair Rasťo Rusnák and Janko Horňák, who were behind the acoustic album Bichrom (2021), were joined by drummer Zuzka Ďurčeková and so are new songs recorded in full arrangements.
The visual aspect of KRISTAL was taken care of by the photographer Dávid Doroš, the final sound of the songs was handled by Erik Horák from the Lososound studio.
Kolowrat's new songs are once again moving mainly around the corners of interpersonal relationships, noticing the pitfalls of the contemporary lifestyle, weighing the ratio of uncertainty and mature adulthood. They are a personal statement and a civil reflection, they can be prickly, bitter, but also romantic.
