About event
/// kolowrat ///
Creation of Košice Kolowrat has earned names such as "guitar melancholic" or "municipal citizenship poetics", which captures the moods and directions contained in it.
15. October 2024 is published by Kolowrata EP called Kristal. Although the band still did not come in a full line -up, the couple Rasťo Rusnák and Janko Horňák complemented the drummer Zuzka Ďurčeková and so the new songs are recorded again in full arrangements. With Kristal for the first time after 11 years comes Kolowrat with new song material. href = "https://www.slnkorecords.sk/kolowrat"> https://www.slnkorecords.sk/kolowrat
/// Sveťo Šomšák ///
Graphic designer, Slovak songwriter and non -formula. The last years of the occasional performer on the Slovak straw scene. Since 2018, it has been organizing moderated song-literary evenings on the carpet. Discussion with Martin Mudrík - admin of the satiristic site Adolf Snowman, journalist Michal Frank and the organizer of protests in Košice Ján Gálik. We will talk about the SNP, the current situation in society, or about humor as a form of civil engagement. The discussion has a free conversation format and you are more than welcome to participate. Together we march through the SNP heroes, we are local activists from all over Slovakia, representatives of various organizations, cultural institutions, minorities and many others. We want to commemorate the legacy of the SNP today and talk about our wildlife, rich culture, our common history. We want to collect stories and spread a positive relationship to our country in times that are full of negativity. We want to remind you what we can be proud of and that Slovakia is worth fighting today. We understand the word uprising as a non -violent uprising based on active civil society and joint responsibility for our country.
