About event
Supernaturalia/Krištof Kintera
Date of the tour: 11/02 -19.00 hod. . The number of seats is limited, so it is necessary to apply for a commented inspection in advance by e-mail to [email protected]. The middle generation of Krištof Kinter (*1973) brings a selection of his work over the last decade. The curatorial concept focuses on one of the main lines of its artistic program, which emphasizes the current topics associated with the global state of nature at the time of technological boom and consumerism. The presented works reflect the phenomenon of the damaged and modified landscape, revealing its fragility and disturbed balance. The creation offers an ecologically tuned view of the current environmental crisis, critically reflects the inactivity of consumer companies, political systems and scientific advances in relation to ecological problems such as pollution or destructive effects of industrial sectors. This reality is transformed into an absurd metaphor, often colored with fine humor, which, however, bears an urgent message.
