The best currently coming to market from private collections. During a brisk watch, art historians Nina Gažovičová and Július Barczi will present 130 works that represent a diverse cross-section of Slovak art from the 19th century to the present day. The tour will provide a unique opportunity for a deeper understanding of the key moments of Slovak visual art of the 20th century.

Focused works of the pre-auction exhibition:
Martin Benka - Z Revúcká doliny: a monumental work from a key creative period, reflecting Liptov. How did the author transform the reality of everyday work into a monumental celebration of the national spirit?

Lea Mrázová - the title work of the auction is a portrait of the young Mikuláš Hub, representing an important chapter of Slovak portrait art.

Arnold Peter Weisz - Kubínčan - a mini-collection of works by an exceptional expressionist, documenting the synthesis of his foreign experiences with an authentic Slovak environment. The tour will also offer an analysis of his creative dialogue with Miloš Bazovský, presenting them as an important counterpoint to Benko's national patriotism.
