The curator of the exhibition The Secret of the Hoard of Coins from Pinkové Kračany – Marek Budaj will introduce visitors to the stormy period of the Kuruk Wars in Hungary, when the treasure was hidden, as well as the circumstances of the treasure being buried in the ground and its discovery.
During the tour, we will talk about why this is a particularly exceptional find that stands out from others and we will take a closer look at the rarest coins from the find.
The exhibition The Secret Treasure of Coins from Pinkové Kračany was prepared by the SNM - Historical Museum in cooperation with the NBS - Museum of Coins and Medals in Kremnica.
