About event
Experience Wednesdays at the museum
Novohrad museum and gallery, a cultural institution of the Banskobystrica self-governing region, invites you to a guided tour of the exhibition "Behind the scenes of NMG - From acquisition to restoration", which will take place on October 30. 2024 at 4:30 p.m.
The exhibition curators will guide you through the exhibition. From the concept of the exhibition to the stories of the most interesting exhibits that have not yet been publicly told.
The exhibition realized with the financial support of the Banskobystrica self-governing region
About the exhibition: Even close, seemingly ordinary things can be presented from an unknown side. To reveal the stories, secrets hidden in the objects around us, and at the same time get to know the "invisible" work, without which the museum would not be a museum. It is not only about "objects" in depositories or exhibition spaces. The goal of the exhibition is to acquaint visitors with professional activities that are inherent to working in a museum, although they often do not perceive them directly.
Duration of the exhibition: 24.10.2024 - 1.12.2024
Venue: Námestie Kubínyiho 38/3, Lučenec
Curators: Michaela Škodová, Andrea Németh Bozó , Martin Katreniak
