We cordially invite you to a guided tour and baptism of the monographic publication to the exhibition Ira Svobodová Liminal Phase, which will take place on Wednesday 5. 2. 2025 from 18:00 in Gallery. Shadow, where the colors and shapes in the fogre coincide with the air? Among any two phases there is always a certain marginal situation, a mysterious phase of unclear contours, in which the transformation process leads from one condition to another. We never know much about the transition phases themselves and without defining in relation to the previous and the following states we cannot even indicate them. In the words of Merleau-Ponty, however, we can see them as "gaps through which poetry penetrates". It was the transition horizon of phenomena that became the leitmotif of the exhibition Ira Svobodová, in whose work the analytical approach to the medium of painting has always intertwined with reflections on human life and reflexes of psychological conditions.
