We invite you to a guided tour of Kristina Láníková's exhibition through vulnerability. 13: 00–18: 00
The theme of Kristina Láníková, in whose work the image and text are equally complemented, is vulnerability. The selection of the art documentation presented in Gavu captures the physical experience associated with "healing". Formally economical assemblages, objects or videos using simple motifs such as skin cuts or contours of patches and drug blisters, refer to the relationship between body and medication, but also between intimacy and power. The author reflects socially constructed categories of health and illness through fragmentary representation and unspoken, through prints of his own memory and history, which, however, approaches with a distance - as an archive that organizes the method of selection, variation or work in series. Thus, intimate passes through the depersonalization and visible inspection mechanisms. It is not just a criticism of a certain form of medical practice or an artistic update of a feminist approach to corporeality.
