About event
On Saturday 17th, 2025 from 6 pm we cordially invite you to a guided tour of the Ornament research exhibition continues as part of the Brno Museum Night program. The exhibition will be carried out by the author Petr Kvíčala. In his work, Kvíčala devotes himself to the ornament as a problem of the mathematical order and at the same time to the aesthetic phenomenon of fallen reputation. Ornaments continue to grow through quiz images like mycelium, sometimes hidden, sometimes signal. This polarity is probably more pronounced in the period mapped by the current exhibition than in the previous stages of his work. In parallel with the painting, work with wood again comes to the floor. The author invited the artist Karím al-Mukhtarová.
As part of the Brno Museum Night program, the gallery will be open until 22.00, the last possible entry to the gallery will be 21.45. 3.-26. [email protected].
