Komentovaná prohlídka výstavy Kupka a karikatura – Zrcadla Pravdy s kurátorkou Markétou Theinhardt

The exhibition is part of the program cycle Museum Kampa dedicated to topics, aspects and context of the work of František Kupka. The last in the 2017 was the exhibition of studio neighborhoods: Marcel Duchamp, Raymond Duchamp-Villon, Jacques Villon and František Kupka and in 2018 the exhibition organized for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic František Kupka: Legionnaire and Patriot. This year's exhibition will present the artist's work at the time of the "golden age" of satirical magazines. Although Kupka is known primarily as one of the first to move towards non -non -non -non -art arts, his satirical work is, at first glance, diametrically different from later concepts, in many ways the substantial part of the artist's work. The exhibition presents Kupka's critical drawing in the wider context of the then Paris and International Scene and points to the diversity of the topics that satirical drawing worked out more than a hundred years ago.
