On THURSDAY 11/21/2024 at 5:00 p.m., we cordially invite you to a guided tour of the exhibition THE SECOND SIDE OF PHOTOGRAPHY. The exhibition will be led by theorist Karel Císař.
He travels through time and space to find such a sight, and when he reaches his destination, something extraordinary happens. The present finds itself in the past, and the past is realized in the present. 'The past carries with it a secret index that links it to salvation.'" Karel Císař is an art theorist and curator. He works at the University of Applied Arts in Prague. With the text "Image, index and analogue. "Two photographic installations by Markéta Othová from the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries" was contributed to the catalog by Markéta Othová.
