Lucie Rosická, born in 1998 in Olomouc, currently lives between Prague and Ostrava. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and specializes in textile art, specifically relief quilting of fabrics. Her work is deeply influenced by contemporary technologies, especially social media, and explores phenomena associated with modern ways of perceiving beauty and identity. Rosická often returns to the themes of self-portraits, which she connects with the reflection of her own experience. Her works emphasize temporality, the changeability of the body and the reflection of the digital era, which she combines into strongly intimate and visually impressive works.
The curator of the exhibition is Radek Wohlmuth.
