Join us for an exceptional natural experience associated with watching a riverbed - a brightly colored bird, also known as a flying diamond. Do you know why the island is called Sihoť and what does the term Sihoť actually mean? The island of Sihoť, including its natural value, which we will talk more about on a walk, is a significant water source of quality drinking water, not just for part of Bratislava. You knew that the water that is mined from this source is so clean by the natural self -cleaning process that we wouldn't even have to chlorine it. And why is it chlorinated? You may also be surprised that the banks and bottom of the Karloveský arm of the shoulder consists of materials that the Danube brought to us from the Alps. And why Karloveské shoulder, despite being just a short distance from the city center, is a very well -preserved part of the river ecosystem? And what does the term "river ecosystem" mean? a.s. At the fountain, at 14:00 h, where you will meet a guide who will accompany you during an educational walk of about 3.5 hours. After the meeting you will receive a telescope, after the end of the walk in case of nice weather you can bathe. It takes place in the wild, so we ask participants to dress adequately and put on the field - we recommend solid, waterproof shoes and clothes suitable for the natural environment. Please note that during activity we are in the natural environment outside the built -up area, where there may be various unpredictable situations (eg weather changes, slippery terrain, presence of insects, etc.). The ecocentrum Čunovo is not responsible for the effects of nature and their possible consequences on the participants. And in case of nice weather, it is recommended to pack enough fluids, head and swimsuit protection. The number of participants is limited. Tickets can be purchased at Bratislava Region. We are open to the public on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 14:00 - 20.00.
