Museum of Memory XX. century invites you to a guided walk around Hradčany on the topic:
Historical memory: Hradčany and totalitarian regimes, which offers a unique insight into the transformations of this important Prague district in the context of the totalitarian regimes of the 20th century. The walk will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. as part of the accompanying program of the Open House Prague festival.
During approximately 2 hours, participants will get to know (not only) well-known places that bear traces of the Nazi occupation and the communist regime. Hradčany is not only a symbol of statehood, but also a space where crucial moments of modern history took place - and it is precisely their historical memory that the walk will attempt to bring closer.
The guides will be employees of the XX Museum of Memory. century: director Petr Blažek, historian Michal Macháček, didactic Jan Samohýl and lecturer Aleš Otava and will offer expert interpretation and broader historical context. century – The house of pages in Hradčany (Kanovnická 69/3, Prague 1).
