About event
We cordially invite you to guided tours of the Timo exhibition: I have roots in a pot that will take place in the following terms: Lukášová-Spilková and Katarína Horák Belejová)
About the exhibition
The multimedia installation of Brno artist Tim presents the dialogue of large number of templates for spraying in the exterior of the public space and installing the intellectual and creative background of the author. This is illustrated by the number of newly created drawings, objects and paintings.
Timo has established itself as a street art creator. His lyrics are encountered on various forgotten, often unsightly places - on columns, walls, fences, trash cans, passages, under bridges and the like. His artisticly conceived slogans in public space respond to the situations, events, events, politics or consumer way of life. His texts are sometimes created situations, as a commentary to the character of the place they enter. It is ironic, responds to our unconscious action, works with humor and paradox, touches social topics. Behind the short street slogans Tima hides poetic work with the text and his desire for a composed, multilayered, complex work of art. A similar method of creative work can be recognized in other genres by which it expresses.
