👉anna -va Bergman & Hans Hartung: Anny-Eva Bergman (1909–1987) and Hans Hartung (1904–1989) are unique in the history of art couples. Their common career included the first meeting in Paris in the 1920s, separation in 1937, World War II and final reunion in 1952. Despite their proximity, they remained in style completely peculiar and constantly rendered their artistic approaches. It is this interplay of differences and similarities that the exhibition examines. Bergman and Hartung closely share inspirational resources: Natural elements, distant ends of the universe and the language of music. But each interprets them in an inimitable way. Although their works are inherently different, their paths often intersect and create shared space - a place where they can live together through painting. It presents works that easily question the dichotomy of nature and culture. Illustrations of blurred boundaries between domestic and wild are intertwined with novel elements and materials. The essential parts of the exhibition include works created directly for Kunsthale Prague - New York Taxi full of Live Trees Arbomobil (2024) and Video Lisa Calling (2024), which live the space of Gallery 3. Schindler Seko won the Gran Prix of Architects. Originally built as Zenger's transformation station in the 1930s, this technical monument is still a remarkable building for cultural activities. The tour will focus on the original architectural plans, historical context and technical specifics of the current building.
