The first commented tour of an international exhibition provoking questions about the position of the female artist, which will be led by the co-curator of the exhibition Anna Vartecka.

The international exhibition Gray Gold: Touch tries to contribute to the discussion of the opposition of the female artist, has the ambition to thematize the connections of age, gender, creativity, and the effort to make visible the late work of post-war female artists generation.

The international exhibition Gray Gold: Touch is a continuation of the original projects Gray Gold: Czech and Slovak artists 65+ (2014) and Gray Gold: At hand (2017). The concept of these projects has long been connected by the effort to contribute to the discussion of the opposition of female artists in the wider Central European space, the ambition to thematize the connections of age, gender and creativity, and last but not least, the effort to make visible the late works of Slovak, Czech, and German Araucian female artists of the post-war generations. There is a generation of female authors who anticipated, created and shaped the conditions for the gradual professionalization and emancipation of women's artistic creation and helped its integration into the Czech-Slovak and Central European history of art.
