Chlär's Detroit-influenced techno will rock the factory hall with more than a century of history.
The 10th anniversary Komiks Rave will be happy to welcome DJ and producer Chlär at the end (Primal Instinct records). Chlär, who is also one half of the Funk Assault project, has been in the Komiks crew's sights for a long time. Booking was arranged in connection with the interesting industrial space of the former Holešovice power plant. The power plant was built by the Electric Companies of the Capital City of Prague between 1898 and 1900, primarily as a source of electricity for the operation of their tram lines. There was a tram depot in the area. The power plant supplied electricity not only to drive trams, but also for public lighting and private individuals. In 1925, the long-distance supply of heat began. Old cranes, machinery and compressors are still part of the location.
The Komiks crew has big plans for the entire interior, including lights, huge sound and decorations. As this Komiks is going to be extra special, it will go on late (11am) and start early with half price bar fare from 9pm to 10pm.
