About event
Comics are not just superheroes in tires. It is a medium full of emotions that can tell the story in an exceptional way. 🖼️
Czech expert Martin Foret will introduce a comic book as a cultural phenomenon and 19 March will guide us from its transformation from its inception to the present. We start at 18:00 in the Roma House at Zámočnícka 10 in Bratislava. 🏰
This is the first lecture from the series of three, which will prepare us for a comic book program at the Pálffy Palace during the Bratislava Book Festival 2025. Another Foret's lecture will be on April 9 and its theme will be the transformation of the Slovak comics from the beginning to today. 🥰
The establishment of events from public funds was supported by the Art Support Fund. The partners of the event are the National Trust n.o. and Romer's house.
