havrilla / CATHEDRAL TOUR '24 / ev. church in Nitra
Chamber concert / Songs with stories
The church is open to everyone.
Dušan Havrilla is a musician and lyricist. In the past, he worked as a singer in the bands Out of Control and EVS band. Nowadays, as a folk singer, he fits comfortably in a cozy cafe with his guitar. After two years of living in Cork (Ireland), he resonated with his debut album Citadela (2022). The minimalistic sound of the songs with soft electronics complements the crackling of the fire, the noise of the cottage and its surroundings. The album was produced by pianist Daniel Špiner.
Havrilla feels most at home surrounded by friends and the band. The group launches into the world of tension (2023, Slnko Records), which was created in the cast - vocals and guitar: Dušan Havrilla / drums: Matej Borovský / guitar: Radoslav Lakoštík / cello and bass guitar: Roman Stražanec. Together with Beyond Music Studio and lyricist Silvia Kaščáková, they took care of the EP, which will grow into an LP album at the beginning of next year. / cello / drums). Songs with stories fill a sacred space open to all. The acoustics, atmosphere and story of each church, together with the concert program, bring a unique experience. They allow stopping, offer space for rest, sadness and hope.
