Dear translator-editor community!
just before the start of the summer holidays, we invite you to a community meeting in Trenčín, this year's European Capital of Culture. Our member Stefanie Bose managed to get the honorary title of chronicler of the EHMK Trenčín 2026 and from May to September she works here on a creative scholarship of the German Cultural Forum. If you are interested in getting to know her and opening the topic of residency programs, translation stays and scholarships in our industry with us, come on Friday, June 26 at 5:00 p.m. to the Michal Rešetka library in Trenčín for a meeting called "Translators on the Road".
Stefanie is currently reporting on events in the city and you can follow her posts on the blog or Instagram.
Place: Michal Rešetka Public Library (study room, 2nd floor), Jaselská 2, Trenčín
Time: 26.6. 2026, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (after the library is closed, if interested, we can continue the conversations in the city)
Entrance to the meeting is free, but for organizational reasons, please register in advance at [email protected]. We thank Michal Rešetka Public Library for the background and help with the organization.
In the future, we will also support your initiative in organizing a community meeting - even outside of Bratislava! If you have an idea for a topic or wish to join in organizing informal meetings for our translation-editing community, please contact us ([email protected]). We will help you with preparation and promotion, let more talk about translations :)
