About event
Giovanni Botessini was the greatest double bass virtuoso of the late 19th century and a prolific creator of double bass compositions. He is still considered one of the greatest double bass players in history. His works will be performed by unique artists of today and, as the name suggests, they will experiment with Botessini's works.
Among all the exceptional artists who will take part in this concert, we choose:
Thomas Martin (UK) - London Philharmonic
Giuseppe Ettore (IT) - Teatro alla Scala
Ján Krigovský (SK) - Musikverein Wien
Rodolfo la Banca (IT) - Licinio Refice Conservatory in Frosinone
...
and others no less experienced artists.
Späth's villa at Skuteckého Street 22 in B.Bystrica is definitely the right exceptional place for such a unique version of Botessini's work.
