About event
Concert "Bratislava – Buenos Aires" in ŽILIN
Žilina - Rosenfeld Palace
4/12/2025 at 19:00
Samuel Mikláš (violin) and Karol Kompas (guitar) prepared a concert program called "Bratislava – Buenos Aires". As the name suggests, the concert will have two dramaturgical lines. The first will bring the world premiere of five works by Slovak authors (Peter Machajdík, Jevgenij Iršai, Ján Králik, Jaroslav Hruška and Karol Kompas). The second line presents the music of the famous Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, who processed the traditional Argentinian tango into a modern form with elements of classical music and jazz and created the Tango Nuevo musical style.
Concerts will be held in Komárno, Topoľčany and Žilina.
The Fund for the Support of Art was supported from public sources.
