About event
ACOUSTIC CONCERT OF THE GRUPO PALCHUKAN FAMILY FROM COLOMBIA
We cordially invite you to a concert by the Colombian group Grupo Palchukan, which brings healing music and songs of shamans from the Amazon mountains, from the Putumayo region, southern Colombia.
The trio Grupo Palchukan consists of William Palchukan, Sandra Tautas Pantoja and their son Mallku Palchukan. They are part of the well-known musical group Grupo Putumayo, founded by William Palchukan 40 years ago and which has won numerous awards in Colombia and abroad.
Their music is magical - powerful, healing sounds and songs, passed down through generations, created using traditional instruments of the indigenous tribes of the Amazon rainforest. They are based on the ancient cosmovision of Amazonian shamans and carry a deep message of healing, connection and respect for nature.
Grupo Palchukan keeps the ancient roots alive and brings them to everyone who desires to know the wisdom of the Amazonian ancestors and their magical power of sound.
According to the indigenous people of Amazonia, music is a form of deep connection with the spirit - a bridge between the material and immaterial world, between the visible and invisible.
Introductory words to individual songs will be translated from Spanish.
On the spot it will be possible to buy musical instruments and handmade objects of the inhabitants of the Putumayo area – bracelets, rattles, power necklaces and other unique artifacts.
