Ten years after the last album, the well-known Wrocław band HURT is opening a new chapter in which they are clearly no longer young. The authors of the generational hit "Załoga G" have prepared, as usual, an eclectic album with many famous and talented guests. The co-creators of the band's eighth album include: Igor Pudło (half of the cult duo Skalpel) or the young soul singer Martyna Baranowska. HURT's latest album is not the punk antics of the nineties, but a thoroughly current marriage of the best alternative-pop patterns, harnessed to tell the story of the titular "stimulus festival" in which we have to participate - whether we want it or not - in the third decade of the 21st century. Disaster is approaching and it is very close, preceded by a "shark tornado" in which hope and doubt rage, creating a mesmerizing cocktail. The observations made by the lyricist, Maciek Kurowicki, evoke not only a warm smile or emotion, which we remember well from previous albums, but rather gales of black laughter and the desire to dance on this Titanic, after which we rush around in panic. Clearly mature, brazenly cheerful nihilism - this has never been seen before in the Polish song universe, and oh, how it was needed!

He played hundreds of concerts, performed on the stages of festivals: Live Festival, Off Festival, Jarocin, Przystanek Woodstock and in almost all cities in Poland, both small and large clubs and on outdoor stages.
Hurt's songs are part of such film productions as "Self-Portrait with a Lover," "How I Loved a Gangster, a True Story," "Deep Water."
"Załoga G" was interpreted on the occasion of Męskie Granie 2021 by Dawid Podsiadło and Vito Bambino.
On records In addition to musicians, HURT's guest appearances included Czesław Mozil, Sidney Polak, Igor Boxx, Magiera, Kuba Kawalec, Mateusz Pospieszalski.
The upcoming album "Festiwal Stimulus" contains nine premiere songs that HURT has prepared for from the producer's point of view of Maciek Wasio. Guests on all songs are supported by the band Paweł Odoszewski (Sanah), who recorded all the keyboard instruments.
Current line-up: Maciej Kurowicki - vocals, Kuba Regulski - drums, Robert Pękala - guitar and Grzegorz Sawa Borysławski - bass.
The leader of the HURT band is Maciej Kurowicki, vocalist and author texts.
Maciej is the son of an artist and a professor of philosophy.
In the 1980s (together with his mother) he lived in a refugee camp in Latina near Rome. Then he emigrated to Montreal.
He has dual citizenship: Polish and Canadian.
After returning to Poland, he participated in the activities of the Orange Alternative.
In the early years 90. was an active photojournalist publishing in most Polish dailies and weeklies.
In addition to Hurt, he co-creates with Igor Boxx (Skalpel) and Magiera is the band Evorevo, which released the album "Dwubiegunowa" in 2018.
