About event
The Ježkovský trail, which proudly claims to Jaroslav Ježek, a native of Žižkov, invites you to a special concert held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Prague Uprising together with the Prague 3 city district.
You will not only hear the well -known melodies from the thirties and forties, but you will also hear several Ježek's songs with anti -war texts of Voskovec and Werich, who responded from their American exile to the war situation in Europe. These songs were regularly broadcast to the Protectorate on the BBC waves and their listening was punished hard. Today, however, we have a unique opportunity to listen to these melodies in peace and without fear, thanks to the Prague Uprising and its participants, who will pay to Prague 3 and the Ježek tracks Hold.
The concert will include the publication of the exhibition: "We do not forget! 1939—1945 Prague 3 in the 2nd World War".
