About event
The Oroith Abesbatza Choir was founded in 1985 by a group of young active people from the Basque village of Ordizia and for 33 years spread choral music and love not only in Ordizia and its surroundings, but also in many other places. Their repertoire includes the music of many genres and places, and various time periods, with which they have already introduced themselves to listeners in Austria, Hungary, France, the United Kingdom, the Vatican and Italy. According to musical critics, the main feature of the Corps is Expressivity, an expression that gives their interpretations, especially compositions from the 20th century and Basque folklore. In Prague, it will present a diverse program with parts in Spanish language from various epochs and places. The program offers a cross -section of Spanish music from Renaissance to today. We will hear works from well -known composers from different times and places that reflect the cultural, poetic and emotional wealth of the Spanish -speaking world. The concert celebrates the variety of language and music that connects us.
