The innovative concert performance of the Kaplan's spouses entitled Too Hot To Händel and the subtitle Elektobaroko presents the vocal and instrumental compositions of George Friedrich, the prominent composer of High Baroque, played electronically. Soprano, bandleader and musicologist Viktorie Kaplan is lifelong of Baroque music and her historically instructed interpretation (Victoria Ensemble). The accompaniment is created and produced by Kryštof Kaplan, who is a distinctive personality in the field of Czech electronic music (insert the band insert the cat). The synthesizers and samplers open completely new interpretative possibilities, such as underlining events in the text on the basic principles of Baroque music, strengthening the whole range of emotions or their lightning change. The importance of the bass line and its polarity with the top voices, on which the whole era of music Baroque and this project stands. The arias are interleaved by peculiar instrumental pieces, creating a comprehensive music area offering a discovery and world -wide dialogue between Baroque and the present, between the old and the new, as well as the collages of Petra Navrátilová. and a guided tour with an exhibition with artist Petra Navrátilová and curator Veronika Přikrylová on Thursday, May 29 at 6 pm in Pragovka Gallery.
