We invite you to a concert as part of the activities of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026.
The performance of the young group LECHA DODI brings to Slovakia a unique opportunity to experience the oriental harmonies of traditional Jewish music. The authentic experience is enhanced by the original Hebrew texts performed by the charming singer Katarína Šillerová.
Entrance is free when the capacity of the Synagogue is filled.
The singing is accompanied by the felt playing of experienced musicians: Karol Kompas (guitars), Roman Stražanec (cello, bass guitar), Matej Borovský (drums).
During the evening, the audience and listeners will be guided through a wide range of emotions and feelings. Hanukkah, Purim, Rosh Hashanah and others).
Combined with the acoustics of the synagogue in Trenčín, visitors can enjoy an artistic experience that is currently unparalleled in Slovakia. You will leave relaxed and smiling.
🎤 Katarína Šillerová is a professional singer and author who has been working on her own work since 2012. She has three albums and numerous concerts on domestic and foreign stages. In his work, he combines music with spirituality, subtlety with intensity.
🥁 Matej Borovský (percussion, drums) is a prominent personality of the young music scene. With bands like Dis is Markéta or Dušan Havrilla, he creates a unique rhythmic depth and captivates the audience with his musical sensibility.
🎻 Roman Stražanec (cello, bass guitar) works in various projects across genres and also devotes himself to his own work. His playing stands out for its intimacy, modern approach and sound sensitivity, which moves the compositions to another space.
🎸 Karol Kompas is a guitarist with a sense for detail and color. He is devoted to classical music, musicals, Argentine tango and jazz. He also deals with composing and arranging. His guitar playing is lyrical, but at the same time dynamic - it brings harmonic depth and energy that naturally complements the singing and the overall character of the songs.
