Something something plays light-footed indie pop in which you can hear the influence of post-punk, Czech new wave and dance music. The band something something consists of singer Alžběta Trusinová and Tomáš Tkáč, who in addition to singing also provides synthesizers and guitar. They are accompanied at concerts by the energetic drummer Václav Švestka.
The main lyricist Alžběta Trusinová often works with the theme of female experience and empowerment. Her texts written in Czech with elements of playfulness and exaggeration speak to listeners across age and gender.
The band was formed in 2019 and released three records, Začíná (2020), Útržky (2021), for which they were nominated for the Vinyla and Apollo music awards, and Trěti (2023).
Something a couple and a band are something. They live, compose and perform together. And they love it.

The music project Zapoměls, behind which is the Brno-Jeseni songwriter Aleš
Macenauer, captured the Czech alternative scene in 2021 with the album Mésíc ve váz. The original folk aesthetic disappears from his second album Jesnou from 2023, and the album shifts to an electronic sound dominated by synthesizers, dance beats and post-punk guitars. on the floor of a sad discotheque. The flagship single Smál se á hvězdy padaly is still in rotation on stations
such as Radio 1 and Radio Wave, some other songs also appeared, for example, on Radio Proglas.
The album itself was then included in the top 10 of last year recordings and
Vinila named it the album of the week.
Zivé Zapoměls performs in a two- to three-member line-up. Guitars, analog synthesizers and samplers appear on stage, and the concerts themselves oscillate between indie guitar music and soft techno. During its existence, Zamopělce played more than a hundred concerts, among others at the Metronome, Boskovice and Banát festivals. He also performed as support for Jaromír 99 or Post-husby.
