About event
The Union of Czech Lawyers and the Association of Czech Lawyers Všehrd, in cooperation with the Rand Foundation, take the liberty of inviting you to the Conference to mark the anniversary of 190 years since the birth and 110 years since the death of Antonín the Knight Randy and 160 years since the founding of the Union of Czech Lawyers.
The conference will be held on November 4, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. in the premises of the Patriotic Hall of Karolina in Prague.
After the end of the conference, at 3:30 p.m. there will be a reverent meeting at the Vyšehrad Cemetery and the laying of flowers at the tomb of Antonín the Knight Randy and Otakar Motejl.
The conference commemorates the anniversary of the birth and death of a significant personality of Czech legal science prof. Antonín the Knight Randy, as well as the anniversary of the founding of the Union of Czech Lawyers, with which Antonín the Knight Randy is inextricably linked.
The invitation to the conference was accepted by the President Emeritus of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic Pavel Rychetský, leading expert on civil law Michaela Hendrychová, constitutional judge Zdeněk Kühn, legal historian Vladimír Kindl, dean of PF ZCU Stanislav Balík and also representatives of the Union of Czech Lawyers and the Association of Czech Lawyers Všehrd and the Rand Foundation.
