About event
Together with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, we invite you to the conference attention, support, potential focused on (in) accessibility of secondary education for multilingual young people. They come to the Czech Republic when they have just completed or soon end compulsory education and have ambitions and potential to study high school. However, this is not enough in our educational system to adopt, but at the same time the transition between elementary and secondary school for multilingual youth is missing systematic language training.
How can we improve this situation? How do preparatory courses and zero years work? What is the role of interdepartmental cooperation on regional level? How can we be inspired abroad? How to do the availability of secondary schools and a subsequent qualified job with our common goal, and not an unrivaled dream of thousands of young people? Come with us to share your experience, good practice and look for common solutions.
The patronage of the conference was taken over by the Government for Human Rights Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková.
