World of Generation Alpha conference

Location: Lidická - pracoviště SVČ Lužánky, Lidická 1880, Brno-střed
About event
Boomers as the oldest generation and Alpha as the youngest will meet at the Lužánky Leisure Center for a conference. How do they differ, what are their strengths and weaknesses, and how can they complement each other? This will be the topic of discussions, but also of games and practical workshops. The two-day conference World of the Alpha Generation follows on from the successful non-formal education conference Tracks and Prints, on November 29 and 30 at the Lidická workplace in Lužánec in Brno.
👫🤟 Why the World of Generation Alpha?
The oldest and largest leisure center in the Czech Republic, SVČ Lužánky has been organizing activities for children, adults and seniors for seventy-six years. In order to be able to continue to offer trendy clubs, courses, camps and events for the public, the lecturers there are constantly educating themselves and sharing their experiences with free-time educators across the Czech Republic. This year, it will focus on the youngest generation of children who were born after 2010.
What are the needs of the Alpha generation? What are the major influences on children and youth in today's world? How can we work with them? What can we offer them? How can we help them cope with rapid changes in technology, environment, political situation, impacts of global problems, etc.?
