We will meet on January 19, 2026 at the art therapy conference "Silence as a space of connection in art therapy" at the Faculty of Education, Priemyselná 4, Trnava
Silence is not emptiness. It is a living space in which we can connect with ourselves, with another person and with something beyond.
In art therapy, silence becomes a gentle frame for the creative process. It is not silence from a distance, but a safe space for listening to inner images, body sensations, unspoken emotions. In silence, layers are opened that words often cover.
For the client, silence can be a bridge to oneself, for the therapist a way of deep guidance. Mutual coexistence in silence creates a space of trust, acceptance and creative peace. Silence is not an absence, but an invitation. An invitation to stop, perceive and create in connection.
