Concert (jazz women's trio): Jessicats

Location: Café Tasso - Das andere Antiquariat, Frankfurter Allee 11, Berlin - Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
About event
The Jessicats got together in Würzburg - but founding an all-female band was by no means a conscious decision. Rather, this situation arose naturally, as is the case with their male colleagues.
Inspired by their audience and their unique band constellation, the Jessicats have decided on a special homage. The trio plays a repertoire that exclusively contains works by female composers. These include established jazz musicians such as Alice Coltrane, Carla Cook and Emily Remler, as well as the performers themselves.
The ensemble, consisting of Carolin Heuser on the saxophone, Victoria Pohl on the piano and Sabrina Damiani on the bass, impresses at its concerts with a natural and expressive musical experience, visible joy in playing as well as the courage to take risks and spontaneity. The evening is livened up by the charming presentations by the musicians.
Experience the Jessicats live and let yourself be carried away by their passion for jazz.
