About event
🔹 World Earth Day is a good opportunity to become aware of and possibly even try out in practice how we could contribute to improving environmental conditions on our planet.
🔹 WHEN: April 23, 2026, 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
🔹🔹 WHERE: Nová Akropolis - Košice, Zvonárska 13, Košice
🔹🔹🔹 APPLICATION: [email protected] or by phone on 0911 021 980
🔸 Thematic areas for dialogues:
▪️ Tips and advice on how to act more ecologically, individually and collectively
▪️ Practical testing of selected tips as inspiration for the following days
🔹 April 22 was declared by the UN as Earth Day, with the aim of reminding the importance of the balance between economic, social and ecological needs, emphasizing the need for harmonious coexistence of humanity with nature and the need to protect our planet.
🔹 On this occasion, we invite you to volunteer eco-creative workshops, in which we will show, explain and practically try several ways to act more ecologically. For example, how to make useful items from recycled materials, e.g. mats from old cotton T-shirts, etc.
🔸 If you have old, unnecessary (but clean) cotton T-shirts, you can bring them - we will use them...
▪️▪️▪️ You will be accompanied by the head of the Košice branch, Mr. Rastislav Harčarufka, lecturer at Nova Akropolis, who graduated from the program of studying Eastern and Western philosophy, psychology, ethics and symbolism. He leads courses and lectures, in which he takes advantage of many years of pedagogical and professional experience and experience in the integration of knowledge from various fields (science, technology, ethics, history, philosophy and psychology). 13, Košice
