📚 Do you like books? Do you want to discover not only foreign but also Slovak literature, improve your Slovak and better understand Slovak realities? Come to the new regular meetings of book lovers and become a member of the Mareena Book Club 🪪.
📌 We will discuss the short story Murder on Morgue Street by Edgar Allan Poe.
🗓️ Book club meetings take place every three weeks, on Fridays, in the premises of the language and community room Mareena, o.z. on Hlavná 68. In the summer months and in case of favorable weather, the meetings can also be held in one of Košice's parks.
🇺🇦 The activity was initiated by our volunteer Anna, a passionate reader who brought valuable experience in running a book club from her native Ukraine. She would like to learn more about the country that has become her new home through her beloved books and at the same time improve her Slovak language by reading. Anna is looking for like-minded people who are united by a love of books, curiosity and a desire to discover new, domestic and foreign worlds 🌏. Therefore, foreign as well as local lovers of literature are welcome in our club.
