About event
Come with us to celebrate the 75th birthday of the European Union and help us create a live chain of cohesion! The face of the live chain for the Košice self -governing region is its chairman Rastislav Trnka. 🇸🇰🇪🇺
🤝🏻 on Europe Day (EU birthday) 9. May we will create a symbolic living chain in each regional city in Slovakia as well as in Hainburg and Uzhhorod, in which people - from children to pensioners - will hold hands.
The aim of the initiative is to link the European Union directly to the regions and to say that Slovakia is a proud member of the European Union, while showing that people across the regions are Europe. Jozef Viskupič, who is also the chairman of the Association of Self -Governing Regions of Slovakia (SK8).
