Kosmas 900 // unikátní rukopisy poprvé společně

Come and remind yourself of the author of the oldest Czech chronicle and an exceptional intellectual of the early Middle Ages, from which 900 years have passed this year. The National Library of the Czech Republic invites you to visit the unique exhibition project in Prague's Klementinum. Special emphasis is that Kosmas and his work are accessible to pupils of primary and secondary schools in accordance with modern didactic trends. In the mirror chapel, almost all preserved medieval manuscripts of the Kosmovy chronicle will be concentrated, including a rare Leipzig manuscript with a single preserved depiction of the author. The exhibits will also be complemented by manuscripts from the collections of the National Library of the Czech Republic. 9. - 24. 10.
